The Georgette Juveniles at the Carnival. Were you a member of the Georgettes? Do you have any photos we can upload to the site.

Yes, I was a member of Georgette’s Juveniles and I would think those photos were possibly taken in 1948. In the top photo, the girl at the back with her hand to her mouth, is Barbara Rogers and I am sitting next to her on her right. In the second photo, I am holding the rod with the banner and standing next to Georgette ‘Queenie’ Harris, our dancing teacher. Doris Ratcliffe is also in the first photo – she is the first of the three girls sitting on the right. Is it only Carnival photos that you’re asking for, as I do have just one of our 1950 entry – but I also have other Georgette’s photos.
