A picture of Alice in her later years. I remember her daughter Amy and I’m sure as I can be that the woman escorting Alice is Amy. She certainly looks as I remember her. I also (just) remember Amy’s children Joan and Pat, grown up by the time I knew them in the 1940s, but can’t be certain about the identity of the two younger women in the snapshot. The younger of the two is probably Pat. From the look of the picture I should think they are on Southend pier.
