Margaret Payne’s brother, Tony, on behalf of the family, has presented a memorial photo of Margaret Payne to be hung on the wall of the Heritage Centre where she was one of the founding members.
It was accepted by Dave and Jessica Thorndike, Janet Dolling and Allison Harris who were on duty at the Heritage Centre on Saturday.
The original photo was taken by Dave Bullock a few years ago and is featured on the page about Margaret’s early life on Canvey which can be read here.
