Mick Cain fought in Australia in 1970 and 1972- of his four bouts he only lost one (close/disputed decision). Mick was always good value here in Melbourne- a mate of mine sparred with Mick when he was in Australia and rated him highly.
I really enjoyed reading about the life of Mick Cain. I met him in the sixties and always wondered if he married and had kids. It was about the time he was going to America (I think) also I thought of him when in a charity shop I saw a large signed picture of Frank Bruno and the ladies had no idea how much to charge for it….this was only a couple of days ago and in the Essex area as well. Lovely memories. Ann
