St Annes flooding July 2014

The devastating surface water floods of July 2014 caused a lot of damage on the island. Vast areas of the island were under water after a particularly nasty storm when due to a lightening strike some of the pumps were out of action. St Annes Church was one of the places that was particularly badly flooded.

These photos show the church, hall and grounds plus the surrounding roads. Rev Peter Mallinson is surveying the damage.
