Found this very old bungalow on Google. It is called Maritza and it is no 47 Paarl Road. Can anyone tell us if it is still there?

Hi Jan, This bungalow was on the south side of the eastern part of Paarl Rd one property back from the junction with Thelma Ave. I’ve lived in the Oysterfleet area for over 20 yrs and as far back as I can remember the frontage was always in this overgrown condition. I can’t be exact but I think at least 10 yrs ago it was the home of an old lady and when she passed away it remained unoccupied for several years. The land stretched back to Waarem Ave and Google satellite shows that 2 of the four houses that are now on the site were under construction. On the same Google image you can see that construction has started on the Paarl Lodge site, however the 4 houses there were finished before those on the Maritza site. PS. The google map that you are looking at Graham must be a lot older than mine. Mine shows all the properties as finished and people living in them. Found 47 paarl Road on the 1989 Electoral register. At that time a Frances D Robertson was living there. Probably the same lady you remember Graham.
