Although this looks very similar to the shops at either end of Furtherwick Road, it’s neither. I found this: Pratt William, Jeweller, 6 Hartfields parade, High Street in Kelly’s Directory 1937.

I seem to remember them at lakeside end of High st canvey. You had Garlards garage , Hazeldenes fishshop then Pratts the jewellers. I am talking late 40s 50s and 60s before Altermans arcade was built.
