From Waterside Roundabout to the Lobby

Survey photos taken on the 8th April 1976

These photos form part of those sourced by the Environment Agency for us. They were taken on the 8th April 1976 as part of the survey of the roads that would be used as the work on the new seawall moved round to the Lobster Smack area.

The photos show Canvey Road before it was duelled, The area where the Picketts was built on the left. Northwick Corner before the roundabout with Ray Howards house front and centre. Passed the Saints estate on the left then into the village with the King Canute then right into Haven Road with its very old buildings then on down the road with the tanks on the left and the Lobby in the far distance.
