  • I attended Kingsley Hall during W.W.2 for at least one year. I remember reading a letter to the class, it was from my father, who was in North Africa at the time. I stumbled on the word “mechanized”, but was able to finish o.k.

  • I have studied the picture a lot and after using a magnifier, and comparing with other pictures of myself at that approximate age, I am almost certain that the picture is 1941. The boy in the dark jersey, arms folded, in the second row could be me. The girl to the left of me,facing the picture could be my sister Marion. I remember Miss Gwen even though we were not there very long before changing to Long Road schools. Such a long time ago.!! Gerald Hudson

  • Hi Mike: Thanks for your comment, you must be right as my sister and I were not at Kingsley Hall in 1947, I’m glad that I said “could be”in my comment regarding the picture in Question. In 1947 I had already met the venerable “Slasher Eals” and all of the events that happened during that period.!! Gerald Hudson
