Long Road (William Read) School photo taken in 1937 are you in this picture? Did you go to the school? William Read School is currently collecting memories about the School, which has been on the site since the first building was opened in 1924. At first it was called Long Road School, then it was changed to Canvey Island Secondary Modern School, eventually being renamed after the first Headmaster William Dring Read.
