Bumped into Bob the Brush

Working on the wording for a new mural

On my trip last week along the seafront, the first in over a year, I bumped into Bob the Brush who was signwriting for the latest mural. The mural will show the impact covid has had on the local community.

I also met the artist Richard Ashton who was the artist for the first panel of the flood mural and also the large mural showing the ‘History of Mural Painting’. I did not bother to take a photo as all he had was a ‘blank canvas’ which he was preparing ie filling in the holes etc. But he gave me some indication of what the mural was going to be about. There is a Thames barge involved and Chris Fenwick manager of Dr Feelgood is also in the mix. We await the result with interest.
