Gary Walford and Angela held a quiz night at the War Memorial to help raise funds for the Canvey Community Archive. Robbie and Janet, representing the Archive, were on one of the teams. (They came 5th out of 8, but we won’t mention that!). We all had a great time and plenty of laughs at what turned out to be a very successful evening with £250 being raised. Gary is seen here presenting the donation to Janet at the Archive’s recent exhibition at St Nicholas’ Church Hall.
The Archive would like to say a big thank you to Gary and Angela and wish them much success with the other quiz nights they have planed to raise money for other local community groups.
