The first 4 photos show the start of the refurbishment and expansion of the Labworth car park at Canvey’s seafront.

There are then 2 images of what the former Canvey Supply building in the High Street now looks like after work was carried out in the Autumn of 2020.

Picture 7 is Caring’s butcher shop now closed in readiness for refurbishment by its new owners.

Pictures 8, 9, 10 and 11 are of the work which started at the end of 2020 to the land between the Haystack Pub and Haron Close. Flats for Senior Citizens are going to be built there. Years ago on part of that site, fronting Long Road, there used to be a pair of semi-detached bungalows called ‘Wilwyn’ and ‘Aleco’. They were situated where the big tree is in picture 11.
