'Free Spirit' plays for the Archive.

Fundraiser.

Saturday 5th November went off with a bang and it had nothing to do fireworks! At the War Memorial Hall the band ‘Free Spirit’ offered to put on an evening’s entertainment to raise funds for the Archive. The audience could sit and listen or get up and boogie to a mix of ’60s and ’70s music. Thanks to the band giving their time and talent for no fee and all those who tried their luck with the raffle and tombola, a tidy sum was raised for the Archive. Thank you to everyone who supported us including Castle Point Mayor Martin Tucker. Sarah Binstead was the lucky raffle winner. She was delighted with the hamper which Alan Browne from Morrison’s had provided.
