Long serving Furtherwick Park Staff
Furtherwick Park School Archive
These are some of the staff who were at the school when I was in the 1980s and 1990s.
Aubrey Jenkins probably won’t thank me for telling you that he taught P.E. when I was a pupil at FPS in the 1970s and he was still there when I joined the staff in 1986. He’s a true stalwart.

What happened to Mr Jenkins hair? He had a full head of hair in the 70s. Taught Geography and PE but not to me
It’s great to hear some of the teachers names I knew when I attended this school in the 70’s; especially Mr Jenkins. But what happened to his hair? Lol.
I would love to know what happened to a girl I knew in ’76. Her name, then, was Lynn Jefford. We dated and I lost her, I broke her heart over a silly mistake…..losing her is the only regret I have in my life.
Lynn Jefford is my cousin. Her family lived in Namur Road. I don’t know what happened to her as her mum and my mum who were sisters, fell out in the 80s and we haven’t been in touch since. I have been in touch with Lynn’s eldest brother Robert, but not for a couple of years. Lynn had a younger sister Sharon and another older brother, Joe.
