Does anyone remember Roy Fox (aka Mike Perry). He lived on Canvey and used to run the Kings Club and also perform there. He is my cousin and is now in his 80’s living in Dereham, Norfolk and still making cd’s of all the old classics. His voice is still as good as ever!
Just as an aside, I used to drive the 3/3a bus for Southend Corporation in the 60’s. I remember it used to terminate at Leigh Beck and there was a cafe where we could get a cuppa!
