Mural at the Transport Museum

The transport museum has an artist in residence, Maggie Rose. As part of their Paint Your Wagon event on the 17th September a mural is being created plus a children’s competition.

Maggie and members of her group have been busy creating this great mural which I understand will be going up the stairs and also in the ladies and gents. Already you can see Blakey and Olive from ‘On the buses’ are helping to point the way to the conveniences.

The artists’ space is a bit cramped due to the on going building works. But how great that will look when the shop and cafe area is open.
