The Village c1930s

Good photo of the village as you enter from the west. Some of the buildings are listed and still standing at over 100 years old.

The Orange Cafe was very popular.

The pump has gone, the Red Cow as it was known then was demolished and rebuilt further back away from the road then after 1953 it was renamed King Canute.

The photo is probably from the 1930s definitely before 1937 when the pump and Red Cow were demolished.
