What great photos. As I remember. My dad bert foulger trying to get to work.on PLA.jetty to take the launch out.chelsea and pitsea.port of London duty vessels.to patrol the river Thames. With.ted watson and stan. Getting past the works.with.me waving. As left hole haven creek.and sometimes. Going out with them.and getting shrimps.then cooking them.from my little fishing net.hanging over the side of the Chelsea motor patrol launch. Then back to the lobby.for a Canada dry cola and crisps with the little blue bag of salt in packet.!!! And climbing the tha PLA metal ladder.boy that was high at low tide!!!!! Looking up at the PLA hut. What a feat with dad behind me going up the ladder.great memories. Of that jetty. Lobby public manger was jack Charles. Back then. Later my dad got me job working on canvey sea wall project. From job centre. That was the Lobster smack public house were all the AWA staff were drinking there. At the bar !!!! Funny days for me and an adventure working on Canvey sea wall. The Irish workers were wonderful and funny to work with. And were in caravan s.on work site then .to the end of the contract about 1982.
