I’m pretty sure it’s 1958; that was the year that Alec Beaumont sold the Casino to the Harniess family. You can see a Mollycroft living wagon with a curved door canopy which was Mr Harniess’s. Near that can be seen a set of Gallopers, which weren’t there in the following season(1959).

I loved the casino!! My favourite thing was the Helter skelter with the bowl at the bottom I’m not too sure but I believe it was the only one in the country like it. I also remember having great fun in the Crooked House!!! Loads of great memories of the Casino and in the Ballroom where we performed our routines for families and friends.
