Silver Jubilee 1977.. I collected 11p per child for 5 weeks to help fund the party.. Handel Road, Roggel Road, May Avenue and Delder & Sprundel Ave. The party was in Lubbins Park and the Evening Disco was held in Roggel Road. My Dad put a low scaffolding stage up and we ‘Bopped’ the night away to Elvis songs.. My Nan is in the middle, Lorraine Coleman is holding her hand, I’m just over my Nan’s shoulder with long brown hair. Remembering so many families.. Jean Hearn & Tommy & Stephen.
