Follow the line of Furtherwick Road to the seawall today and that’s where the original Welcome Hut was to be found. Judging by the clothes that the people are wearing, this picture was taken on a bracing day.
Look on the horizon and you can see a hazy Scarhouse Farm on the left and an equally hazy Kynoch Hotel on the right.
