One of the last photos taken, not only of St Anne’s Church, but also of Rev Fleetwood before he left the island in 1973. The church was pulled down and replaced by the building we have today in 1974.

  • The rev fleetwood christened my son in the new church in 1979 so he must have still been at one of the churches on the island to have done this

  • I used to go to St Anne’s Girls Brigade in the late 1950 early 1960 It was run by a lovely lady named Mrs Gilbey She had a daughter named Judith She was helped by Mrs Dulys Had such good fun Church parade in the old church on Sundays I went with my friend Margaret Grant Lots of good memories and learnt a lot
