  Safety belts had not long been introduced in cars, hence the snappy slogan. Someone had a friend with a flatbed truck. The chairman in a bowler hat played an oldfashioned photographer with a mock-up plate camera, so he could disappear under the hood when the pennies came flying…
  There’s our daughter Tess in a long, flowery dress.
  And I am there and the ‘Girl of the Year’
  And we’ve still got the chair…
