5 - Ebenezer Mather Grave Restoration
Nearing completion

The Fishermens Mission original logo
The bottom picture, supplied by Stibbards Stonemasons, is of the headstone being prepared for restoration. The lead lettering has been removed.
The picture immediately below shows the letters for his name preserved by Stibbards and presented to the Heritage Centre.
There will be a ‘Harvest of the sea’ service at St Annes, Leigh Beck at 2pm on the 15th November followed by the blessing of Mather’s restored grave at the Heritage Centre (St Katherine’s Churchyard) at around 3pm.
Many thanks to Stibbards for all their hard work and for allowing us to use these pictures.
