Claxton's Flicks

This week Graham Steven and I were invited by Michael and Lin Swanson to see a DVD they had of old Canvey taken by the Claxton family. (The Claxton family had a Furniture Removal Co and Furniture Shop on the corner of Oak Road)

Little did we realise what a treat we had coming. The clips below taken from the DVD are probably dated between mid 1930's and 1940's. Some have dates, but we are not sure they are all right. But we will do our best to give some indication of the time scale if at all possible. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.

The DVD is nearly an hour long so it will take me a while to process and upload them all so please keep calling back.

Many thanks to Michael and Lin Swanson for this great find. Enjoy
