I remember this Carnival,I was on the St Johns float with my nana and cousin Julie (standing with collection box),it took weeks to get the float ready with everyone praying it wouldn’t rain !!,my mum making the costumes and others making crepe paper flowers to decorate,a very busy time for all,but fun memories.x
