I was in Miss Bailey’s class for the first half of 1972 until I left Long Road School in the July to go to senior school .My friend Helen and I at one stage used to clean Miss Bailey’s Mini and she used to give us a big bar of chocolate for doing it ! I ‘m not in the photograph and don’t recognise anyone so I wonder if it is the Autumn 1972 intake . Miss Bailey was the deputy headteacher ..I was a bit nervous when I knew she was going to be my teacher but she was always really kind to me ..
