The caption on this card was obviously written by someone who wasn’t familiar with Canvey. The place name Leigh Beck is misspelt and Shell Beach doesn’t come under the area known as Leigh Beck. Nevertheless an interesting view with Cox’s cafe and the little white hut advertising teas.
The card is postmarked 9th September 1929 and was sent to Primrose Hill.
