The caption on the first card unfortunately doesn’t tell us which cafe the view is from. Can you recognise it?

Card two shows the refreshment pavilion and the people taking an interest in the Zaza’s palmistry booth. Note the wide but unmade road.

Card three’s caption refers to the house which was named Kismet and stood in large grounds. Its memory lingers on in the name of the park and adventure playground in the former gardens of Kismet House. The card is postmarked August 1943 and was sent to Walton-on-Thames ie. from one extreme of the river to the other.
