When I investigated the family I found that Alice Brown was the mother of Wally Brown, known to many on the island. Her husband was Charles and they lived at this time at Scar House Farm. In 1911 they were living in South Benfleet, they had been married 14 years and had 7 children one of which was Walter (Wally).
