Derek Nash and his pet Buzzard ShebaTaken in 1970 zoomEcho Newspaper GroupAuthor By Janet PennPage added 18/09/2017 Comments about this pageI knew Derek very well, he kept loads of birds and reptiles at his home in Heideburg road, I think. It was of great interest to me as I kept birds at the time. I worked at Basildon zoo at the time and Derek was known to the owners, so came over quite a lot and exchanged animals with them. At one time he even had a puma cub at his house. He had a good knowledge of animals. He also had a great dane dog called silver. He moved to Wales in the late 70s and I lost contact. I have some very good memories of Derek.By Gary Casson (03/11/2018) Add a comment about this pageYour email address will not be published.
